SEAN FOY BRANDON FOY MAKING QUEST THE FUTURE

SEAN FOY: Co-Owner MGP / Producer / Writer / Director
BREWMEISTER BIO
After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Computer Science, at Lehigh University, Sean moved to New York City to study film at NYU. After working on several school projects and some small independent short films, Sean joined the road-crew of a 70-year-old man's cross-country excursion in an electric car built in 1912. Utilizing VHS, Super-8mm black & white film, and 8mm Video, Sean wrote, directed, and shot an hour-long documentary, entitled Charging Across America about the adventure. Working on a low budget, the combined video and film footage was edited using a pair of specialized VCRs. Closely beating the resurgence of the electric car, the trip is now in the Guinness Book of Records as the first and oldest factory built electric car to ever cross the U.S.

Soon after, Sean relocated to Los Angeles, where he began freelancing as a Camera Assistant and Assistant Director for various companies, including Fox Sports West and Playboy.

Of course, getting that first behind-the-camera job wasn't easy, so, upon his initial arrival in L.A., Sean began doing some background extra work for some quick cash. See if you can spot him in the Adam Sandler / Drew Barrymore film, The Wedding Singer or in old episodes of Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210, Caroline in the City, Lois and Clark, and many others not worth mentioning.

It didn't take long for Sean to realize that if he wanted to direct, he'd have to take it upon himself to create his own opportunities. Enlisting the help of a few friends from the music and film world, Sean produced, wrote, filmed, and directed the short film, The Men's Room and co-produced, co-wrote, shot, and edited the short spoof, Safe Sex P.S.A.. (Check out the shorts page where you can watch these films.)

Also during this time, Sean began working as a cameraman and promotional director for the Anaheim Angels baseball (now LA Angles) and Mighty Ducks hockey teams. He shot and/or directed numerous in-house commercial and comedy featurettes for both teams, all of which were shown during home games on the respective stadiums' Jumbotrons.

In addition, two of Sean's Angels commercials appeared on ESPN, Fox Sports West, CNN, and Lifetime. A short-lived Angels feature, entitled Dave Sportz, starring Dave Lander (aka Squiggy from TV's Laverne & Shirley) also appeared on the local cable channel OCN. In 2001, several of Sean's features were nominated as Golden Matrix Award Finalists for Best Promotional Video Presentation and Best Season-Long Feature at the U.S. sports IDEA Conference.

Sean was also the cameraman responsible for introducing the Angels’ Rally Monkey mascot to national television during their 2002 World Series win. His work has appeared on news stations across the country, not to mention appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

In 2003, Sean briefly relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota, where he worked camera for the Minnesota Wild hockey team.

A short sixteen months later, Sean relocated to Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he currently resides.
