BRANDON FOY: Co-Owner, MGP / Producer
BREWKIND BIO
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Management, Brandon was forced, many times, to answer the question, "just what does an Industrial Manager do?" Despite that, he quickly found a job at Intel and relocated to northern California to do just that. Having packed up his new car with everything he owned, he drove across the country, to begin his new job, greatly embarrassed his older brother Sean, who, despite having gone to film school, was still working a low paying accounting temp job in a sad little cubical at the time.
Brandon was greatly loved at Intel and quickly moved up the ranks, rising to various management positions. Growing increasingly bored, however, Brandon quickly jumped at the chance to help Sean on his short film production of The Men’s Room, coming aboard as cast and crew.
When it came time to make the feature film, Quest for the Holy Ale, Brandon was first to sign on to form Mardi Gras Pictures and to join up as producer and actor for the film.
Eventually, however, he had to return to life in the office. After taking a nine week sabbatical to travel to Australia, he quickly quit his job and soon moved to San Diego, where he began working for HP. Unfortunately, he had just met the girl of his dreams in San Francisco. So, he worked his corporate charms and moved back north.
Brandon currently resides in San Francisco, and is joining his brother, Sean, in developing their follow-up feature film, The Grotesque, with Mardi Gras Pictures.
